CRES is expanding rapidly. With all of the interest in Climate Strikes, Extinction Rebellion and plastic there is huge interest amongst the general public. Now Eco Church stands at over 1750 churches registered and over 500 with awards. All of this interest is leading to unprecedented demand for places on the CRES course. But CRES is unusual in that it is almost entirely run by volunteers. This means that we can keep the fees down, but it also means that we cannot overburden our volunteer staff team. If we are to take on more students then we need more volunteer staff. We could really do with some help from those with some scientific, theological or educational expertise. The sorts of people we need are:
- those who could update and/or write modules in environmental theology, environmental studies and rural church.
- experienced markers for second marking essays.
- someone with expertise in academic management would also be helpful.
As CRES is a distance learning course you could be anywhere in the world and still be able to contribute! If you feel that you can help, even in a small way, do contact us.
I look forward to hearing from you!
